Our local office is hiring a Compliance Assistant responsible for performing the administrative/human resources activities within the Maxim branch office. The Compliance Assistant will maintain compliance of all external employee personnel records with all Maxim and/or ACHC standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Assists job candidates through the application process •Completes reference checks on all applicants being considered for employment •Processes the criminal history record search through the appropriate Consumer Reporting Agency (or state criminal records repository, if applicable) •Completing new hire forms and entering employee information into computer system •Prepares and accurately maintaining employee personnel files to meet Maxim’s current standards •Tracks employee licensure/certification documentation for validity/expiration for external employees •Responsible for various office administrative functions including ordering office supplies, answering telephone inquiries, photocopying, monitoring incoming/outgoing facsimiles •Other duties as assigned by the Regional Compliance Coordinator Qualifications Requirements: •High school graduate or equivalent •Minimum of 6 months administrative experience •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office) •Must be able to multitask •Organized with attention to detail •Able to work with minimal supervision Preferred: •Payroll experience •Knowledge of ACHC standards Our company is committed to maintaining a challenging environment that promotes personal accountability, personal growth, and an active role in the driving vision of the company.
