Title: Customer Service Representative
Report to:Manager, Customer Contact Center
Location: National Headquarters

Customer Service Representatives (CSR) play an important role within ToFixIt as this position communicates directly with our customers. This role primarily handles inbound phone and internet requests from customers but will also be responsible for some outbound calls and electronic communication to ensure a quality customer experience. The CSR role can lead to additional career opportunities as ToFixIt expands nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service in all areas of position
• Answers inbound calls following ToFixIt procedures
• Respond to inbound electronic communication
• Data entry in various systems including the ToFixIt management system
• Answers telephone and provides information/assistance or routes caller to appropriate staff member or member company
• Assist senior staff on various projects
• Composes and types routine correspondence using MS Word
• Prepares reports and compiles information in support of department and staff
• Establishes and maintains permanent files; files and retrieves files as requested
• Performs other related duties as required

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping
• Experience using MS Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to accurately type 30+ words per minute
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects or initiatives at once
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Education or Experience Requirements
• High school diploma
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Special Requirements Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested
